Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #04-07-XXX <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING <br />THE SOLICITATION OF BIDS FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #04-24, HELIUM <br />STREET/169TM AVENUE DRAINAGE PROJECT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a portion of 169th Avenue near the Helium Street intersection experienced <br />flooding problems due to inadequate drainage; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, extreme pavement deterioration has developed over the portion of the <br />roadway which has been subject to flooding; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this roadway will be overlayed as a part of the 2004 Street Maintenance <br />Program, and it is necessary to correct the drainage deficiency to protect the investment in the <br />newly installed pavement; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this project will be funded by the City storm water utility. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) The plans and specifications prepared for the above referenced project are hereby accepted <br /> and; <br /> <br />2) The City Administrator is directed to solicit bids for said project. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />__, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 13th day of July 2004. <br /> <br /> Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #04-07-XXX <br /> Page 1 of 1 <br /> <br /> <br />
