ADOPT RESOLUTION AND ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF TItAT PART OF LOTS 2, AND 2A, BLOCK 1, WEST RADIUM BUSINESS CENTER FIRST ADDITION, ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA, LYING NORTHERLY OF THE SOUTHERLY 167.00 FEET THEREOF By: William K. Sullivan, Economic Development / TIF Specialist Background: The City has completed negotiations with Huntington Family Properties, LLC and now needs to deed the property (See Map) to them to complete the transaction. On June 22, 2004, the City Council introduced an ordinance to authorize the sale. That ordinance is now being presented for formal adoption. Thc City has entered into a TIF agreement with Huntington Family Properties, LLC. As a part of the transaction, the city is to convey title to THAT PART OF LOTS 2, AND 2A, BLOCK 1, WEST RADIUM BUSINESS CENTER FIRST ADDITION, ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA, LYING NORTHERLY OF THE SOUTHERLY 167.00 FEET THEREOF. On .lmm 22, 2004, the City Council introduced an ordinance to authorize the sale. That ordinance was adopted on July 13, 2004. A resolution is necessary to adopt to complete the sale of the property. Recommendation: Staff recommends adoption of the proposed sale ordinance and resolution. Council Action: Motion to adopt Ordinance No. 04-__ which is an ordinance authorizing the sale of the THAT PART OF I~OTS 2, AND 2A, BLOCK 1, WEST RADIUM BUSINESS CENTER FIRST ADDITION, ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA, LYING NORTHERLY OF THE SOUTHERLY 167.00 FEET THEREOF. -and- Motion to introduce Resolution No. 03- which is an ordinance authorizing the sale of THAT PART OF LOTS 2, AND 2A, BLOCK 1, WEST RADIUM BUSINESS CENTER FIRST ADDITION, ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA, LYING NORTHERLY OF THE SOUTHERI,Y 167.00 FEET THEREOF.
