I <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> i <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />b) Mayor Gamec P~garding Current Fund Surplus - <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that Ramsey currently has an excess fund balance of <br />CDBG funds and Lino Lakes has requested that Ramsey loan them $10,000. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Gamec and seconed by Oouncilmember Sorteberg to adopt <br />Resolution %84-39 that Ramsey's economic development funds remaining <br />from 1983, a loan of $10,000 be made to the City of Lino Lakes for use <br />in their senior citizen project and that this loan be credited back to <br />the City of Ramsey by January 30, 1985. (Please refer to resolution <br />file for Resolution %84-39). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />c) Letter From Citizens For A Better Environment - <br /> <br />Council noted letter from Citizens For A Better Environment dated <br />February 16, 1984. <br /> <br />d) Legislative Policies As Proposed By League Of Minnesota Cities - <br /> <br />No action. ~here is a seminar coming up March 13 and 14, 1984 and anyone <br />wishing to attend should contact Mr. Schnelle as soon as possible. <br /> <br />e) Letter From Mr. Gary Heitman Reporting On Charter Commission - <br /> <br />Council noted letter from Mr. Gary Heitman, Chairman of the Charter <br />Commission to Judge Sokolowski dated February 9, 1984. <br /> <br />Case #10: Landfill: <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich stated that the City has not received any contracts or documents <br />to review from the operator of the Landfill; when they are received, meetings <br />will be scheduled to review the contract with Council. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that as far as Metro Council is concerned, Ramsey is going <br />to have a difficult time getting Site P pulled back. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmemher Van Wagner to <br />authorize that City Attorney Goodrich contact Mr. Charles Weaver regarding <br />changing the configuration of Landfill Site P. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilm~m~ers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case %11: Bills For A~roval For The Month Of Februar~ 1984: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by councilmember Van Wagner to <br />adopt Resolution %84-40 authorizing the payment of bills for the month of <br />February 1984 in the amount of $157,440.59. (Please refer to resolution file <br />for Resolution %84-40). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Schlueter and Van Wagner.
