The meeting opened with a self-introduction of each member present and their affiliation to the specific organizations which they represent. Butch Brandenburg asked the members representing communities to give a brief overview. After the representatives from the communities were finished, he then asked the RYAA, AYAA and the CDYAA representatives to briefly describe what their needs are as far as recreation facilities might be in the upcoming year. After they were done, Butch Brandenburg asked Fritz Anderson to give an overview of how he interrelates with all the neighboring communities in School District 11. I I I Dennis Donovan from the City of Ramsey explained their park system and showed a map which diagrammed their existing park facilities as to their location throughout the city. He then briefly described their park dedi- cation ordinance which has been revised to base the amount of dedication on population instead of square areas. Mr. Donovan explained that the City of Ramsey has a very good relationship with the Hockey Association with two large hockey rinks and a general rink located at the Ramsey Elementary School. He then started to describe the development of the Central Park which is their major park development for the upcoming City'of Anoka
