! <br />I <br /> <br />Case #5: <br /> <br />Request For Variances From Various State And City Codes; <br />Case Of Mr. Gerald Smothers, Minnesota Sawdust And <br /> <br />Shaving Company, Inc.: <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Mayor Gamec to <br />enter into a development agreement with Mr. Gerald Smothers of <br />Minnesota Sawdust and Shaving Compnay, Inc., granting him a <br />temporary variance to the requirement of the State Building Code <br />for sprinkler systems and a variance to the requirement of the <br />local code which requires colored metal on the roof of metal <br />buildings. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Reimann, <br />Schlueter, Sorteberg and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #6: <br /> <br />Awarding Bids For Street Improvement A~d Sealcoa~ing <br /> <br />Projects: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember <br />Van Wagner to adopt Resolution #84-104 receiving and accepting <br />bids for 1984 sealcoating projects and awarding said bid to <br />Allied Blacktop Company, contingent upon sale of bonds. (Please <br />refer to resolution file for Resolution #84-104). <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />i <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Reimann, <br />Sorteberg, Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br />(Councilmember Schlueter stated that she remains in objection to <br />to sealcoating Brookview Estates.) <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember <br />Van Wagner to adopt Resolution #84-105 receiving and accepting <br />bids for 1984 street surfacinz projects and awarding said bid to <br />Hardrives, Inc., contingent upon sale of bonds. Further~ that <br />payment continue to be held from Hardrives until 1983 project <br />#83-15 is repaired. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #7: <br /> <br />Ordering Of Feasibility Study And Preparation Of Plans <br />And Specifications For The Plat Of River's Bend: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember <br />Reimann to adopt Resolution #84-106 ordering a feasibility study <br />for the plat of River's Bend, contingent upon the applicant <br />providing an escrow as required by City Ordinance. (Please refer <br />to resolution file for Resolution #84-106). <br /> <br />Motion carrzed. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Reimann, <br />Sorteberg, Schlueter and Van Wagner.
