Motion by Commissioner Bauer, seconded by Commissioner VanScoy, to approve the following <br />minutes as presented: Planning Commission Meeting Minutes dated September 1, 2016. <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Levine, Commissioners Bauer, VanScoy, Andrusko, <br />Brauer, and Nosan. Voting No: None. Absent: None. <br />5. PUBLIC HEARINGS/COMMISSION BUSINESS <br />5.01: Public Hearing: Consider a Request for a Variance to the Front Yard Setback on <br />the Property Located at 16062 Rhinestone Street NW; Case of Trilogy Homes, Inc. <br />Public Hearing <br />Chairperson Levine called the public hearing to order at 7:01 p.m. <br />Presentation <br />City Planner Anderson presented the staff report stating the City has received an application from <br />Trilogy Homes, Inc. (the "Applicant") requesting a variance to the minimum front yard setback <br />on the property located at 16062 Rhinestone St NW (the "Subject Property") to allow a twenty- <br />five (25) foot setback. Staff discussed the request in further detail and recommended approval of <br />the variance. <br />Citizen Input <br />Greg Bauer, 7212 160th Lane NE, explained he was hoping to build his home on this lot and <br />thanked the Commission for their consideration. <br />Chairperson Levine believed the Commission was in agreement on this request. <br />Commissioner Brauer appreciated the way this request was brought to the City. <br />Motion by Commissioner Bauer, seconded by Commissioner VanScoy, to close the public <br />hearing. <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Levine, Commissioners Bauer, VanScoy, Andrusko, <br />Brauer, and Nosan. Voting No: None.
