In order to make <br />this program available t~ ~lty r~l~en~,_~ city council will <br />have to give its approval ~o par=lc~pa=e wxun Metro HRA in the <br />program. <br /> <br />I have enclosed some information about the rent assistance program <br />as well as a form of resolution for the city to adopt if they <br />wish to participate. <br /> <br />Since the number of households to be assisted is likely to be <br />relatively few, we would prefer to provide program'administrative <br />services for the city. This arrangement could be changed in the <br />future if the need for services changes and a different method <br />would provide better service. <br /> <br /> Metro HRA is currently providing rent assistance to over 3100 <br /> households with the participation of 75 suburban cities in the <br /> metropolitan area.
