1. Metro H.R~. provides staff for all administrative functions. <br /> Under this optiOn, Metro MPA staff are assigned-tO the <br /> community on a part-time basis to perform the required <br /> paperwork and inspections of units as needed. The <br /> cit~ <br /> is requested to make available a telephone and off~ee <br /> space for interviewing applicants periodically as necessary <br /> Staffing costs are born by Metro HRA with no charge to <br /> the city. <br />2 ~rovides housing inspection services; Metro . City t _ <br /> ~taff provide all Other administrative services. <br /> Under this option, the city perfo~'ms the required tlUD <br /> inspection of housing units assisted under'the program, <br /> while Metro MPA staff perform the other administrative <br /> duties and paperwork with tenants and owners. Metro.MPA <br /> will reimburse the city for the inspection services at <br /> $24 per inspection. <br />3. City provides staffing for all local administrative service: <br /> Under this option, the city performs the required HUD '- <br /> inspection of housing units assisted under the program, <br /> as well as completing the other required administrative <br /> duties with applicants, assisted tenants, and property <br /> owners. The city is reimbursed for the expenses incurred <br /> inp~rformingthesefunctions. Themaximumreimbursement <br /> fee ms dependent upon the number of households being <br /> assisted in the city under the program. <br /> <br /> ~{etro HRA staff continue Jo perform some of the administrative' <br /> functions, such as maintaining a centralized waiting list of <br /> <br />ti <br /> <br />tl <br /> <br />ii <br /> <br />applicants, program monitoring and control of certificates, <br />monthly rent assistance payments to owners, selection of <br />applicants, and bookkeeping and accounting functions. <br /> <br />The decision as to how administrative services are to be provided <br />is mutually agreed upon between the participating city and <br />Metro HRA.
