The CSP provides for the
development of wetlands and public lands.

By deleting wastewater flow from wetlands and public lands, the esti-
mated average flow from the Rum River Watershed is 3.12 MGD. This
estimated flow is based on the assumption that areas outside the
M.W.C.C.'s Sewer Service Area No. 3 will not be served.

Based on a design average flow of 3.12 MGD and a peak flow of 11.59
cubic feet per second (CFS), the proposed thirty inch line at 0.08
percent grade is adequate to meet the City of Ramsey's sewer needs.
The proposed invert of 835.2 is also consistent with the City's future
trunk sewer system.

As requested last week, I have enclosed a copy of Table 18 from the
Ramsey Comprehensive Plan which gives wastewater flow projections from
1985-1990 for the Rum River Watershed (Ramsey Second Connection).
These projections were made in 1982 and they appear to be one to two
years ahead of schedule. A more realistic flow for 1985 would be 0.01
to 0.015 MGD.

~'h'i/ · mtttm'ipa; · 'planni~:;~ · ~,,:,/., a lan,! surn'vin.t:
