I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />! <br />I <br />I <br />i <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />! <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Councilmember <br />moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #84- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING <br />ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR LATERAL SEWER AND WATER, STORM SEWER <br />AND STREETS (RIVER'S BEND) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Ramsey <br />City Council on August 14, 1984, City Engineer Mr. Peter R. <br />Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. has prepared plans <br />and specifications for the improvement of public utility, street <br />and grading improvements to the plat of River's Bend including <br />but not limited to the following: <br /> <br />1) Municipal Water <br />2) Municipal Sewer <br />3> Storm Drainage <br />4) Street Paving <br />5) General Grading and Restoration <br /> <br />and has presented such plans and specifications to the Ramsey <br />City Council fo~ approval. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is <br />attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. <br /> <br /> 2) The City Administrator/Clerk shall prepare and <br />cause to be inserted in the official paper and in the <br />Construction Bulletin, an advertisement for bids upon the making <br />of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. <br />The advertisement shall be published for twenty-one (21) days, <br />shall state that bids will be received by the City <br />Administrator/Clerk until 11:00 A.M. on September 24, 1984, at <br />which time they will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers <br />of the Ramsey Municipal Center by the City Administrator/Clerk <br />and City Engineer, will then be tabulated, and will be considered <br />by the Ramsey City Council at 7:30 P.M. on September 25, 1984, in <br />the Council Chambers of the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 <br />Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota, and that no bids will be <br />considered unless sealed and filed with the clerk and accopanied <br />by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check <br />payable to the Clerk for five (5) pep cent of the amount of such <br />bid. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolutiion was duly <br />seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
