Since the time of my 3une 26th correspondence, the licensee has amended his application to: 1) prohibit public use; 2) identify the type and source of the fill material; 3) limit the fill material to that from their construction projects. With this amendment, their application is in compliance with the provisions o! the Solid Waste Ordinance and the license can be approved. The issuance of a cleanfill demolition landfill license would be for a 12-month period (3uly 1, 198g-3une 30, 1985). We are not able to issue it for a shorter period. The only action which we could take to shorten this period would be to suspend or revoke the license. Such an action could be taken only if the operator of the facility were in violation of the ordinance. We would appreciate your assistance in advising us of any violation in the operation of this facility during the year.
