I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I ORDINANCE NO. 84- CITY OF RAMSKY ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA AMENDMENT To Chapter 210.01 which is known as the "Street Assessment" Chapter of the City Code of Ramsey, Minnesota. An Ordinance amending Chapter 210.01 of the City Code of Ramsey, Minnesota. The City Council of the City of Ramsey hereby ordains: Section 1. Amendment Chapter 210.01 Street Assessment is hereby amended by the addition of the following: 210.02 WATER AND SEWER UTILITIES Preface: This ordinance is adopted pursuant to Chapter 11, Section 11.01 of the Ramsey City Charter and is intended to satisfy the requirements of said Section 11.01. 210.020 General. Any municipal water system and/or sanitary sewer system which is constructed in the City of Ramey pursuant to the City of Ramsey Code regulations shall be operated as public utilities and all revenues and operating expenditures of satd utilities shall be poprly accounted for in a separate municipal fund which shall be a combined water and sewer utility fund. The Council shall have authority to establish fees for connection to and use of the municipal water and sanitary sewer systems from time to time by ordinance or Resolution. 210.021 Definitions. Unless the context clearly indicates otherwise, the words, terms and phrases, as used in Section 210.20 et seq. shall have the meanings set forth in the paragraphs of this section which follow: 1. "Municipal Water System" or "City Water" shall mean the municipal water system of the City of Ramsey. 2. "Sewage" shall mean a combination of the water-carried wastes from residence, business buildings, institutions and industrial establishments. 3. "Sewer" shall mean a pipe or conduit for carrying sewage.
