TO: Mayor and Councilmembers <br /> <br />FROM: City Administrator <br /> <br />RE: Board of Adjustment <br /> <br />ENCL: (D4-a) Information regarding variance request by Mr. Daniel Kuechle <br /> <br />CASE ~1: REQUEST FOR A BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT VARIANCE TO PLACE A GARAGE <br /> <br />LARGER THAN PERMITTED BY CITY CODE IN FRONT OF THE FRONT SETBACK <br />OF THE PRINCIPAL STRUCTURE; CASE OF MR. DANIEL G. KUECHLE: <br /> <br />I <br />! <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br />:1 <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br />Mr. Daniel G. Kuechle of 15345 Sunfish Lake Blvd. NW is requesting a Board of <br />Adjustment variance to place an accessory building larger than permitted by City <br />Code in front of the front setback of the principal structure. The additional garage <br />will give him 1,304 square feet of accessory buildings which is less than the 1,488 <br />square feet allowed by City Code. <br /> <br />It is our opinion that granting the variance will not be a problem. <br /> <br />The following items are included as enclosure (D4-a) for your consideration in this <br />matter: <br /> <br />a) Applicant's application <br />b) Public hearing notice <br />c) List of properties notified <br />d) Area location map <br />e) Proposed findings of fact <br />f) Proposed development agreement <br />g) Applicant's sketch of his proposal <br />h) Building Official's letter to Mr. Kuechle <br /> <br />Council Action: Your action will be to adopt/amend/deny the findings of fact as <br />well as approve/disapprove the request based on the findings. The following proposed <br />motions are hereby submitted for your consideration: <br /> <br /> Motion by and seconded by to adopt/amend/deny <br />Findings of Fact 00 for Mr. Daniel G. Kuechle to place an accessory building <br />larger than permitted by City Code in front of the front setback of the principal <br />structure. Please refer to findings of fact~file or case file for Findings of Fact <br />00 <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes <br /> <br />· Voting no <br /> <br />-and- <br /> <br /> <br />
