Ramsey Landfill

i Dear Lloyd:
As requested, I have reviewed the water monitoring reports dated
July 11, 1984 for the Ramsey Landfill. Mr. Hutchinson's letter states
I that this is the third quarter report, however, the samples
were
collected in June of 1984.

I The laboratory report did not indicate extensive contamination of any
of the wells with the exception of Well No. 8. Well No.8 showed signs
of contamination. Chlorides were at 250 parts per million (ppm) which
is at the EPA's Recommended Primary Drinking Water Standards. The
total dissolved solids specific conductance and total alkalinity were
also much higher than the other wells.

I Both the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency and the Anoka
County
Health Department are aware of the contamination of Well No. 8 and
will continue to monitor any migration of the contamination.
i If you have any questions in regard to the lab report, please let me
know.
I Yours truly,

i HAKANSON ANDERSON ASSOCIATES, INC.

·
Peter R.
