W.e met with him and the <br />~ DNR on September 14, 1984 at his residence and it is rather shocking <br />~ ~ to see h~w this high water table is taking away his land and he can't <br />~ do a thing about it. As you can see by the enclosure, he has very <br />~ little usable property left out of his one acre parcel. The worst <br />~ part is that if we have the same winter and spring as last year, he <br />~ and his neighbors will have real problems. <br />~ We also have severe problems in the Flintwood First Addition with high <br />~ water. Mr. Edberg has suk~itted a bill to the City of Ramsey for dam- <br />~ ages caused to his place by the high waters. Mr. Edberg's bill is also <br />~ . contained in enclosure (D2-n). <br /> <br /> .¥ ~ It is for these reasons that the City has to take a serious look at <br /> ~ ~ these drainage problems and inform the citizens what the City intends <br /> ' ~ to do about them.
