Berg, C~zT~_roller. <br /> <br />A question was raised at the Metropolitan Systems Ccranittee as to <br />where the additic~al funds would be obtained for the St~ III costs <br />for the Ramsey Seccr~ Lnterceptor Connection in the a~ount of $420,000. <br />Enclosed is an arm]ysis of the cash reserves of the M~2C. Please <br />note that the b~lance undesignated is $6,315,000. <br /> <br />Tnis undesignat~_b~nce is due primar~yto interest ea~s over <br />a peri~dofyears. Please note that anadditicrml $2,100,000will be <br />ea~ned~ the period 9/1/84 through 12/31/85. <br /> <br />Projects such as the Ramsey Second Interceptor Connection_ and the ~TP <br />Disinfection and other on-going projects will be used for the basis on <br />the next bond sale. ~%is recapture of m~nies already ex~_~_ er~bles <br />the Ommissicn to initiate other projects on a t/mely basis without <br />wait/rig for a bc~d sale. Projects that have federal' grant funding <br />often, it se~s, have to be started pr~y. <br /> <br />Also, you should be aware of the fact that Certain projects, such as <br />the F~WTP Retrofit Process Control projects, will be cons~ over <br />a period of four years or more. ~hus, these cash reserves can be utili- <br />zed until the next brad sale occurs. <br /> <br />Enclosed, for your infoz~ation, is a recently revised cash flow forec~__st <br />for the period August, 1984 through December, 1988.
