COUNTY OF ANOKA

COLIRTHOUS£ ANOKA, MINN£$OTA55303 1512-421-4760

October 31, 19gO

The Honorable Tom Gamec
Mayor, City of Ramsey
cio Lloyd Schnelle, City Manager
City of Ramsey
15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W.
Ramsey, Minnesota 55303

Re: Availability of 312 Rehabilitation Loan Funds during FY1985

Dear Tom:

Anoka County has received notification of the availability of 312 Rehabilitation
Loan funds for commercial and residential rehabilitation activities in selected
areas. Would you please carefully consider the program guidelines attached and
respond to us by November 30 if your community is interested in participating
in this program. I have attached an application form for your use should you
intend to participate.

Please particularly note that there are no administrative funds provided to
cover the costs of processing loan applications and inspecting construction.
Funds for these activities must come from CDBG or city resources.

Anoka County has recently completed the 312 application process for a few
communities and will soon be proceeding with the construction of improvements
to six single family homes. Having that first process behind us we can say that
it is demanding. However, with up to $27,000 per residential unit and $100,000
per commercial, the 312 program provides resources not available elsewhere.

you have any questions, please contact me for further discussion.

Sincerely,

3oAnn O. ~?right
Community Development Coordinator

30W ~w
Enclosures

Affirmative Action / Equal Opportunity Employer
