The slate auditor's <br />annual report on cities shall include a listing of all cities failing to file a statement <br />or report. <br /> Hi~loo': 1978 c 787 s $ <br /> <br /> 471.70 REPORTING OF OBLIGATIONS BY CITIES, TOWNS, SCHOOL <br /> DISTRICTS, AND BODIES CORPORATE AND POLITIC. <br /> For the purposes of this section 'municipality" means a city, however <br /> organized: a school district, however arganized; a town: or any other body <br /> corporate and politic created under Minnesota law. <br /> An "obligation" as used in this section means an obligation as defined in <br /> chapter 475. <br /> On or before February first each year, it shall be the duty of the principal <br /> accounting officer of each municipality to report to the auditor of each county in <br /> which such municipality is situate, the total amount of outstanding obligations. <br /> and the purpose for which issued as of December thirty-first of the preceding year. <br /> Such report shall be kept by thc auditor of each county in a suitable record. The governing body of a public employer may by a <br /> majority vote in a public meeting decide to hold a closed meeting to consider <br /> strategy for labor negotiations, including negotiation strategies or developments or <br /> discussion and review of labor negotiation Woposals, conducted pursuant to <br /> sections 179.61 to 1'/9.76. The time of commencement and place of the closed <br /> meeting shall be announced at the public meeting. A written roll of members and <br /> all other persons present at the closed meeting shall be made available to the <br /> public after the closed meeting. The proceedings of a closed meeting to discuss <br /> negotiation strategies shall bt tape recorded at the expense of the governing body <br /> and shall be preserved by it for two years after the contract is signed and shall bt <br /> <br /> <br />
