Due. to the extensive grading, it
is proposed to restore the boulevards with seed.

The street section proposed as shown on Exhibit B consists of a
three inch (3.0") gravel base with a minimum one and one-half inch
(1.5") bituminous surface. This section is equivalent to a five
(5) ton design in accordance with Department of Transportation
specifications. This section has been previously used in the City
and other communities. It is estimated that this street section
has a life expectancy of 15 years with minimal maintenance.

proposed
property
Gillman

STORM DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT

To alleviate the drainage problem along Magnesium Street, it is

to place one (1) cross street culvert on the Gillman
and one (1) culvert approximately 300 feet south of the

property. It is also proposed to construct a shallow

ditch on the east side of Magnesium Street to drain the street and
abutting properties into the culverts.

Some
While
which

existing driveways presently may not have driveway culverts.
not all driveways would need a driveway culvert, those lots
presently may cause potential flooding problems should be

required to install driveway culverts. This work is proposed to
be done by the owner of the affected property.
