PROCEEDINGS OF CITY COUNCIL <br /> PUBLIC HEARING <br /> CIT~ OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A public hearing regarding Flintwood Hills Second Addition Planned Unit <br />Development was held on Tuesday, February 28, 1984 at the Ramsey Municipal <br />Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Gary Reimann <br />Councilmember Sue Van Wagner <br />Councilmember Jean Schlueter <br />Councilmember A1 Sorteberg <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Lloyd Schnelle <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />City Engineer Peter Raatikka <br />City Building Official Clayton Berg <br />Reporter Joe Perrin <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the public hearing to order at 7:55 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Mr. Dick Carson, representing NDH, Inc., was present and stated that the <br />subject property is located on State Highway %47 and Industry Blvd., behind <br />the old Ramsey City Hall and City Maintenance building, directly to.the north <br />of the KANO Radio Station. Total acreage is 50 acres and 182 housing units <br />are proposed; 76 courtyard type units, some cluster housing and the balance <br />will be single family dwellings and there will be an MSA street running through <br />the project. The developer is requesting preliminary PUD approval tonight. <br />A homeowners association will be formed for lawn service, maintenance and snow <br />removal on common driveways. Throughout the entire project there will be <br />fairly restrictive covenance. Cluster type housing has been done before and <br />it has been very successful. <br /> <br />John Lichter - 14060 Fluorine, Flintwood I - At the public hearing conducted <br />on January 24, 1984 it was indicated that the homeowners association agreement <br />and restrictive covenance would be part of the PUD approval; do not see these <br />included in tonight's proposed resolution regarding preliminary approval. <br /> <br />Mr. Dick Carson - This is preliminary approval we are requesting tonight; <br />homeowners association agreement and restrictive covenance will be a part of <br />final approval.
