C5~RTER COMMISSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A regular meeting of the Ramsey Charter Commission was held on Thursday, <br />December 8, 1983 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., <br />Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mr. Gary Heitman, Chairman <br />Ms. Brenda Bauerkemper <br />Mr. Tom Gamec <br />Mr. Curt Titterud <br />Mr. Stan Data <br />Mr. John Lichter <br />Mr. Tom Greenberg <br />Mr. Dick Sieber <br /> <br />Members Absent: Mr. ROger Buchanan <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairman Heitman called the meeting to order at 8:02 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Gamec and seconded by Commissioner Lichter to approve <br />the agenda as submitted. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Heitman, Commissioners Bauerkemper, Gamec, <br />Titterud, Data, Lichter, Greenberg and Sieber. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF CHARTER COMMISSION MINUTES <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Lichter and seconded by Commissioner Gamec to approve <br />Charter Commission meeting minutes dated November 17, 1983. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Heitman, Commissioners Bauerkemper, Gamec, <br />Titterud, Data, Lichter, Greenb~rg. Voting No: None. Abstain: Commissioner <br />Sieber. Absent: Commissioner Buchanan. <br /> <br />Commissioner Sieber submitted the following correction to the Charter Commission <br />meeting minutes dated October 27, 1983: <br /> <br />Page 6, Last Paragraph - Shc lld read as follows: 'Commissioner Sieber pointed <br />out that if resolutions bein~ subjected to initiative referendum does not <br />hold up in court, it does no: negate ordinances being subject to initiative <br />and referendum.' <br /> <br />The Commission acce~ ted Commissioner Sieber's correction. <br /> <br />CC/D~ ~ember 8, 1983 <br /> ?age 1 of 8 <br /> <br /> <br />
