<br />Councilmember Johns introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #16-11-213 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING METROPOLITAN COUNCIL PLANNING ASSISTANCE <br />GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $32,000 AND APPROVING ASSOCIATED GRANT <br />AGREEMENTS. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />the Metropolitan Council awarded the City of Ramsey a Planning Assistance <br />Grant in the amount of $32,000 to aide in the preparation of the 2040 Comprehensive Plan <br />Update. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby accepts the Planning Assistance Grant and approves <br />the required Grant Agreement with the Metropolitan Council. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Kuzma, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Acting Mayor LeTourneau <br /> Councilmember Johns <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Shryock <br /> Councilmember Williams <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> Mayor Strommen <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
