Voting No: None. <br /> <br />COUNCIL OLD BUSINESS (CONTINUED) <br /> <br />Case #9: Ado~tin~ Resolution Forwardin~ Completed Community Development Block <br /> Grant Appliqation: <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Gamec and seconded by Councilmember Reimann to adopt Resolution <br />#84-54 forwarding the City of Ramsey's completed community development block <br />grant application for funding period 1984 through 1986. (Please refer to <br />resolution file for Resolution #84-54). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Reimann and Sorteberg. <br />Voting No: Councilmember Van Wagner. Abstain: Councilmember Schlueter. <br /> <br />Mr. Schnelle inquired as to the reason for the abstention vote. <br /> <br />Councilmember Schlueter stated she would like to receive more input from EDC <br />regarding the proposed use for ODBG Funds; that she does not want to commit <br />herself right now. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec pointed out that this resolution will not commit the City to utilizing <br />the funds for sanitary sewer, West corridor, first connection. <br /> <br />Councilmember Schlueter pointed out that there seems to be more concern with <br />her abstention than with the 'no' vote to the resolution. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />COUNCIL NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #5: Bills For A~roval For The Month Of March 1984: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner to <br />adopt Resolution #84-55 authorizing the payment of bills for the month of March <br />1984 in the amount of $250,235.60. (Please refer to resolution file for <br />Resolution #84-55). <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />MAYOR/COUNCIL INPUT <br /> <br />Councilmember Reimann thanked the City for the use of City Hall lower level <br />for a PeeWee hockey banquet he recently attended. <br /> <br />COUNCIL OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Case #7: Proposed Policy For Administerin~ Of On-Site Sanitar~ Septic S~stem: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann to table this case until the April 24, 1984 Council <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Councilmember Sorteberg stated that he does not think the <br />City has enough expertise to tell the citizens what to do regarding their on-site <br />systems. Councilmember Schlueter pointed out that the City has enough expertise <br />to make sure the systems are installed correctly. Councilmember Sorteberg replied <br />that it would make more sense to require periodic pumping rather than making <br />regular inspections, which would be expensive to the homeowner. <br /> <br />C/March 27, 1984 <br />Page 14 of 17 <br /> <br /> <br />
