After consultation with <br />representatives of Control Data Corporation Business Advisors, it <br />appears that the completion of the study for the 140 various political <br />subdivisions will occur in the first week of May this year. <br /> <br />While we obviously are not pleased with having to postpone the final <br />report, it is certainly preferable to providing you and our employees <br />with inaccurate information. Our Joint Study efforts began immediately <br />after passage of the Pay Equity Act by the 1984 Legislature. We <br />continue our best efforts to meet the intent of the legislation. The <br />task has been much more difficult and complex than the original time <br />frame envisioned. <br /> <br />I have attached, for your convenience, a list of those jurisdictions <br />covered by our study.
