Pi2%NNING AND ZONING OOMMISSION <br /> FOBLI C HEARING <br /> CITY OF RAFBEY <br /> ANOKA GOUNTY <br /> $~TE OF MINNES09~ <br /> <br />~he Ramsey Planning and Zoning C~mmission conducted a public hearing on <br />Tuesday, February 4, 1986 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nc~then Blvd. <br />N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota regarding Mr. Robert Muller's request for rezoning. <br /> <br />Members Present: Mr. Kenneth Peterson, Chairman Mr. Terry Bendriksen <br /> Mr. Jim Howell <br /> Mr. Benjamin De,er <br /> Mr. Gerald gimmerman <br /> <br /> Mr. Charles LaDue <br /> <br />Also Present: Ms. Anne Norris <br /> <br /> Chatman ~terson c~].led the public hearing to order at: 7:32 <br /> <br /> Mr, Bob Muller - Stated he is requesting a rezordng of his p~rcel directly <br /> north of the ahoI~ng center on the north side of 167th hvenue fra'n <br /> Mr, ~O. ler stated he l:~rch~l this t:~rcel because for 4 years he has been <br /> leasing 150' of this l:~rticular l~roel for addi~onal parkin[t area, Mr, Muller <br /> stated that he has no other other than a~litional l:~rking <br /> for this p~rcel at the present time. <br /> <br /> John Johnson - 16800 St. Francis Blvd. N.W. - Inquired if Mr. Muller intends to <br /> develop this p~rcel wlth businesses in the future. <br /> <br /> Mr. Muller - Stated that he is not intending to develop the entire p~rcel as <br /> business at this time; he c~ns 6 acres across the street he has been trying to <br /> deve/op; can' t say that he would never develop the subject ~rcel as business; <br /> main reason for requesting rezoning is so that the zoning will be consistent <br /> wlth his existing ~rcel that is zoned business. . <br /> <br /> John Johnson - Inquired that if the subject p~rcel is rezoned to business, <br /> would it be likely that the residential street Quicksilver would be used to <br /> access that property. <br /> <br /> Mr. Muller - ~eplied that if the p~rcel were developed with business, access <br /> would most likely be fr~ 167th. <br /> <br /> Chairman Peterson - Stated that if the property were rezor~ to B-l, the City <br /> would control traffic as much as p~ssible, with access from 167th but that is <br /> February 4, 1986 <br /> <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
