Mr. Matson is requesting a metes and bounds <br />subdivision to change the oonfiguration of the paroels in order that the 11 <br /> <br />acre paroel, on which the h(xne is situated, will qualify for F~% financing. <br />FI~A will only loan money on a home with a maxim~l~ of 10 acres of land. Mr. <br /> <br />Matson stated that he does not have a buyer for the property yet. <br /> <br />Gon~issioner Hendriksen stated that he thinks FHA buyers can get loans approved <br />for more than 10 acres; the mortage would write up 10 acres as being mortgaged <br />and the excess land over 10 acres would not be included in the mortgage. <br /> <br />Co~mission discussed the fact that the proposed subdivision alignment results <br />in landlocking and insufficient street frontage. <br /> <br />G0~nission advised Mr. Matson to not subdivide his property until he finds that <br />there is an absolute nccd to. ~he C0~mission also advised Mr. Matson to inform <br />his surveyor of the Cxm~ission's opinion of the subdivision with respect to <br />street frontage and landlocking. <br /> <br /> For Coneo~nt.liavi~ Of Wildlifo_ Park Anrl R~2reation <br />Vohie]e Camuoroin~d.. Ca~ Of Mr. D~nni~ JOh~m~I <br /> <br />Mr. Dennis Johnson and his architect, 1%il Broussard, were present. <br /> <br />Mr. Broussard gave a presentation regarding Mr. Johnson's proposal for a <br />wildlife [ark and recreation vehicle campground to be located on property east <br />of lk~na Street and north of the railroad tracks. ~he site oontains <br />approximately 100 acres; 23 acres would be wildlife park and the remaining 80 <br />acres would be a recreation vehicle campground.
