Mr. Kelly stressed the Minnesota Fund, <br />Omni 503 Progr~ and Small Business DeveloFment I~oan Program. <br /> <br />Ms. Norris stated that the State has allocated all their funds for this fiscal <br />year and is hesitant to oommit to next year until the outoome of ~he budget <br />cuts are known. <br /> <br />Mr. Hardin stated that any leads to in, ming businesses should be referred to <br />the Finance Subcommittee and they in turn should get in touch with Mr. Kelly. <br /> <br />Mr. DeLuca inquired if Ramsey will be referring SBA applications to the Coon <br />Rapids Development Company for processing. <br /> <br />Ms. Norris stated that not all of the Anoka County cities were in favor of <br />handling SBA loans through the Goon Rapids Economic Develo~t Company and <br />negotiations are in progress. Ms. Norris noted that going to Coon Rapids for <br />SBA processing prohibits making use of the ~ 503 program Mr. Rardin referred <br />to. <br /> <br />Mr. Hardin stated that the Minnesota Department of Energy and Eoonomic <br />Development has a program similar to the Star City program called the Son of <br />Star. <br /> <br />Ms. Norris was directed to schedule a meeting with the appropriate staff <br />members at the Department of Ener~/ and Eoon~mic Develoi~oent Department to <br />research the details of the program. <br /> Mar(~h 6, 1986 <br /> <br />Pac~ 2 of 4 <br /> <br />m <br /> <br /> <br />
