- 3 - <br /> <br /> 1. Except as provided below, it ~hall be illegal to <br />park or store, or permit to be parked or stored on any <br />residential zone in the City a truck licensed for more than 9,000 <br />pounds gross vehicle weight, a truck-tractor, a semitrailer, or <br />special mobile equipment. <br /> <br /> a. This Section shall not apply to major <br /> recreational equipment as defined herein, to any motor <br /> vehicle which is being actively loaded or unloaded or <br /> which is being utilized to render a service. <br /> <br /> b. One (1) truck licensed for more than 9,000 <br /> pounds gross vehicle weight or one (1) truck-tractor per <br /> dwelling unit may be parked on residentially zoned <br /> property, provided that the vehicle is owned or operated <br /> by a resident of the property, any such vehicle is <br /> parked in the driveway or private parking lot of such <br /> residential property, and, provided further, that the <br /> engine of any such vehicle shall not be allowed to idle <br /> for more than a total of one (1) hour within any six (6) <br /> hour period. <br /> <br /> c. The City may grant a conditional use permit to <br /> allow the parking or storage of otherwise prohibited <br /> vehicles if the vehicle is owned or operated by a <br /> resident of the property, such vehicles are not parked <br /> or stored within 350 feet of a neighboring dwelling <br /> unit, such use will not unreasonably annoy surrounding <br /> property owners and the use meets the standards for <br /> conditional uses in Chapter 170.01 of' the City Code. <br /> <br /> <br />
