At that time, we hope to in,:ite several candidate~ iv for i~tervievs ~ith the Personnel Committee, City Administrator and ~e. As you know in the mea~tia, e, Lester is handling the inspections along ~itb bis assessing. Attached for your information are Lester's monthly building pe~it reports. Northfork P.U.D.: The draft Environmental Impact Statement (ELS) for the llorthfork P,U.D. project has been distributed to various agencies and the public review period ends on Nay 7, 1986. An informational meetin& on the ElS is scheduled for 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 23 at City ~all. As you recall, once the ElS is approved and that process is complete, the developers of Northfork can proceed with further development of the project. LAWCOII/LCMR A~pli_catlon: As Council directed, a draft preliminary application for 1987 LAWCOlq/LCMR funds is being prepared for development of River's Bend Park . A draft of this application will be available for Council review on April 22. The Park and Recreation Commission reviewed the application on April 17, 1986. The application deadline is Fay 5, 1986. l~uisance Complaints: ~ow that the snow is gone, I am receiving quite a few complaints about junk cars, garbage, etc. I have issued many notices of apparent violations and in eight cases where property owners have not made any effort to comply with the City Code, I have referred the matters to the City Attorney for further action. FlintwoQd Mills Second Addition: Art Raudio, developer of Flintwood Mills Second Addition, anticipates that he w. ill be requesting the City to participate in the development of future phases of the project by assisting with site improvements using tax increment funds (similar to the City's participation in M & S Development's project in the Oxbow Addition). When this request is made, it will be referred to the Planning and Zoning and Economic Development Commissions for their review and recommendations in accordance with the City's policy on requests for financial assistance prior to City Council review and action. Other: The April 14 edition of the Market Focus section of the Minnesota Real Estate Journal featured the cities of Anoka, Champlin and Ramsey.
