That agreement
requires each city to prepare a local Water Management Plan which
would be incorporated into the overall Water Management Plan of the
LRRWMO.

I Subdivision 2 of the Joint Powers Agreement states that "Local.Water
Management Plans shall (a) describe existing and'proposed phys'~cal

I
I
I
I

environment and land use; (b) define drainage areas and the volumes,

i rates and paths of storm water runoffs; (c) identify areas and eleva-
tions for storm water storage adequate to meet performance standards
established in the watershed plan; (d) define water quality and water
quality protection methods adequate to performance standards esta-
blished in the watershed plan; (e) identify regulated areas; and (f)
set forth an implementation program, including a description of
official controls and, as appropriate, a Capital Improvement Program."

The City of Ramsey currently has a Comprehensive Drainage Plan which
covers approximately the southern two-thirds of the City.

We would propose to update the existing study to include the entire
City and comply with the requirements of Joint Powers Agreement. We
have estimated the cost of this study to be $11,500.00. We would
propose to perform the work on an hourly basis with the total cost not
to exceed $11,500.00.

I

I

I

civil · municipal · planning · soils · land surveying · iandscape architecture
