Counc i]member <br />moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and <br /> <br />RESOLUTION $86- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORBERII~C <br />ADVEI~TISEMENT FOR BIDS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to a motion passed by the Ramsey City <br />Council on April 22, 1986, City Engineer, Mr. Peter R. Raatikka <br />of Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. has prepared plans and <br />specifications for the extension of utilities, streets and storm <br />sewer for Flintwood Hills 2nd Addition Phase II. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TI~E CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF <br />RAMSE¥, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as fol lows : <br /> <br /> 1) That such plans and specifications, a copy of which <br />is attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. <br /> <br />2) That the City Administrator shall prepare and cause <br />to be inserted in the official paper, the Anoka Union and in the <br />Construction Bulletin, an advertisement for bids upon the making <br />of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. <br />The advertisement shall be published for twenty-one (21) days, <br />shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be <br />received by the City Administrator until 11:00 A.M. on June 23, <br />1986, at which time they will be publicly opened in the Council <br />Chambers of the Ramsey Municipal Center by the City Administrator <br />and City Engineer, will then be tabulated, and will be considered <br />by the Ramsey City Council on June 24, 1986 in the Council <br />Chambers. No bids will be considered unless sealed and filed <br />with the City Administrator and accompanied by a cash deposit, <br />cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the City <br />of Ramsey for five (5) per cent of the amount of such bid. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following were abaent: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by <br />the Ramsey City Council this the 27th day of May, 1986. <br /> <br />ATTEST: Mayor <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />
