Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #16-10-205 <br /> RESOLUTION ADOPTING POLICY FOR DONATION OF SURPLUS EQUIPMENT <br /> TO A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION <br /> WHEREAS,the City of Ramsey often times declares surplus property; and <br /> WHEREAS, a new law effective August 1, 2016, allows a Non-Profit Organizations(501(c)(3) <br /> to receive this surplus property from the City as a donation in conformance with the guidelines <br /> outlined in the policy. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> RAMSEY,ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes the Policy for Donation of Surplus Equipment to <br /> a Non-Profit Organization with its Terms and Conditions as listed. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> and the following voted against the same: <br /> and the following abstained: <br /> and the following were absent: <br /> Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br /> the 25h day of October, 2016. <br /> Mayor Sarah Strommen <br /> ATTEST: <br /> City Clerk Jo Ann M.
