Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION#16-10-209 <br /> RESOLUTION TO HIRE A FALL SEASONAL WORKER <br /> WHEREAS, Annually the City employs Seasonal Public Works Maintenance <br /> Workers to work during the summer and fall months in the Parks, Streets, and Utilities <br /> Divisions of Public Works; and <br /> WHEREAS, staff has found a significant benefit to seasonal public works <br /> maintenance workers; and <br /> WHEREAS, staff selected one qualified entry level fall seasonal candidate; and <br /> WHEREAS,the candidate passed the pre-employment screening; and <br /> WHEREAS, staff recommends hiring the candidate listed below. <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY,ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> Motion to adopt resolution 916-10-209 to hire Mr. Mark Silbernagel at$10.00 per <br /> hour, effective October 13, 2016. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the 'foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br /> Member, , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> and the following voted against the same: <br /> and the following abstained: <br /> and the following were absent: <br /> Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br /> Council this the 25th day of October, 2016. <br />
