NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Ramsey,Anoka County, State <br /> of Minnesota, will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at approximately 7:00 p.m. at the <br /> Ramsey City Council Chambers in City Hall, 7550 Sunwood Dr. NW, Ramsey, Minnesota, regarding a <br /> proposed business subsidy to be granted by the City to Platinum Properties Group, Inc., (the "Recipient") <br /> under Minnesota Statutes, Sections 116J.993 through 116J.995. The proposed subsidy involves the sale <br /> of City land at below market value to facilitate development by the Recipient of 123,840 square feet of <br /> industrial space in the City of Ramsey and will result in an increase of the tax base of the City. The <br /> creation or retention of jobs is not a goal of the sale of the City land. <br /> Any person with residence in or the owner of taxable property in the granting jurisdiction may file a <br /> written complaint with the grantor if the grantor fails to comply with sections 116J.993 to 116J.995, and <br /> that no action may be filed against the grantor for the failure to comply unless a written complaint is filed. <br /> Information about the proposed business subsidy, including a summary of the terms of the subsidy and a <br /> copy of the Purchase Agreement are available for inspection at City Hall during regular business hours. <br /> All interested persons may appear at the hearing and present their views orally or prior to the meeting in <br /> writing. <br /> Dated: October 14, 2016 <br /> BY ORDER OF THE RAMSEY CITY COUNCIL OF <br /> THE CITY OF RAMSEY,MINNESOTA <br /> /s/ <br /> City Administrator <br />
