Couucilmember <br />~oved for its adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and <br /> <br />I~SOLUTION <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING <br />ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS (~86-? Carol Rose) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Ramsey <br />City Council on Hay 27, 1986, City Engineer, Mr. Peter R. <br />Raatlkka of Eakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. has prepared plans <br />and specifications for the sealcoating improvement of the <br />following streets: <br /> <br />1) Yolite Street N.W. lying between the North and <br />South boundary lines of the plat of Carol-Rose <br />Acres <br /> <br />2) 1 6 4 th Lane N.W. ly lng b e tween Yol ite S tr e e t <br />N.W. and Yariolite Street N.W. <br /> <br />3) 164th Avenue N.~. lying between Yolite Street <br />N.W. and Lots 4 and 5 Block 2 of the plat of Carol- <br />Rose Acres <br /> <br />4) 163rd Lane N.W. lying between Yolite Street <br />N.W. and Variolite Street <br /> <br />and has presented such plans and specifications to the Ramsey <br />City Council for approval. <br /> <br />NOW lqlEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />~ANSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF ~INNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is <br />attached hereto and made a part hereof· are hereby approved. <br /> <br /> 2) The City Administrator shall prepare and cause to <br />be inserted in the official paper and in the Construction <br />Bulletin, an advertisement for bids upon the making of such <br />improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The <br />advertisement shall be published for ten days, shall specify the <br />work to be done, aha11 state that bids viii be received by the <br />City Administrator· until 11:00 A.H. on July 8, 1986, at which <br />time they will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers of the <br />Ramsey Hunicipal Center by the City Administrator and City <br />Engineer, will be tabulated, and will be considered by the Ramsey <br />City Council at. p.m. on .... · 19~, in the Council <br />Chambers of the Ramsey 1/unicipal Center, and that no bids will be <br />considered unless sealed and filed with the City Administrator <br />and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or <br />certified check payable to the City for five percent (5~) of the <br />amount of ~uch bid. <br /> <br /> <br />
