Councilmember <br />moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING <br />ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS (~86-11 Nalland Acres) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Ramsey <br />City Council on Hay 27, 1986, City Engineer, Mr. Peter R. <br />Rsatikks of Haksnson Anderson Associates, Inc. has prepared plans <br />and specifications for the sealcoating improvement of the <br />following streets: <br /> <br />1) 154th Lane N.W. lying between Barium Street <br /> .W. and Argon Street N.W. <br /> <br />2) Barium Street N.W. from the North boundary of <br />the Halland Acres plat to the South boundary line <br />of said plat <br /> <br />3) Argon Street N.W. from 154th Lane N.W. to the <br />South boundary line of the plat of Halland Acres <br /> <br />and has presented such plans and specifications to the Ramsey <br />City Council for approval. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RANSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is <br />attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. <br /> <br /> 2) The City Administrator shall prepare and cause to <br />be inserted in the official paper and in the Construction <br />Bulletin, an advertisement for bids upon the making of such <br />improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The <br />advertisement shall be published for ten days, shall specify the <br />work to be done, shall state that bids will be received by the <br />City Administrator, until 11:00 A.M. on July 8, 1986, at which <br />time they will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers of the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center by the City Administrator and City <br />Engineer, will be tabulated, and will be considered by the Ramsey <br />City Council at p.m. on , 19___, in the Council <br />Chambers of the Ramsey Municipal Center, and that no bids will be <br />considered unless sealed and filed with the City Administrator <br />and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or <br />certified check payable to the City for five percent (5%) of the <br />amount of such bid. <br /> <br />The motin for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> <br />
