Minutes CASX ~15: <br /> <br /> NON-INTOXICATINC LIQUOR LICXNSBS <br />By~ Dave Hartley, City Admiu£strator <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Similar to intoxicating liquor licensees, the applicants for non-intoxicating <br />liquor licenses are having some difficulty in acquiring a certificate of <br />insurance. Only one applicant has been able to provide such an insurance <br />certificate. Therefore, approval of licenses should be contingent upon receipt <br />of an acceptable certificate of insurance. <br /> <br />Additionally, a new request for an on-sale 3.2 beer license is being presented <br />for approval by the "On The Green Restaurant" at the golf course. The <br />restaurant building is scheduled for final inspection in the near future and <br />would like the license approval to be made contingent upon an acceptable final <br />inspection. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />If it is the desire of the City Council to issue non-intoxicating liquor <br />licenses to those establishments submitting applications, then such issuance <br />should be made contingent upon the City of Ramsey's receipt of an acceptable <br />certificate of insurance. Additionally, the "On The Green Restaurant" license <br />should be contingent upon acceptable final inspection of the building. <br /> <br />Council Actionl <br /> <br />Motion to: <br />Approve the application for an on-sale 3.2 beer license for "On The Green <br />Restaurant" at the golf course contingent upon the receipt of an <br />acceptable certificate of insurance and an acceptable final inspection of <br />the building; such license shall commence no earlier than July 1, 1 986 and <br />expire on June 30, 1987. <br /> <br />-and- <br /> <br />Motion to: <br />Approve the application of Mr. Herbert Koch for an on-sale 3.2 beer <br />license for Tom Thumb Food Market #160 contingent upon the receipt of an <br />acceptable certificate of insurance; such license shall commence no <br />earlier than July 1, 1986 and expire on June 30, 1987. <br /> <br />-and- <br /> <br />Motion to: <br />Approve the application of Mr. Edward Bird for an on-sale 3.2 beer license <br />for Food -n- Fuel contingent upon the receipt of an acceptable certificate <br />of insurance; such license shall commence no earlier than July 1, 1986 and <br />expire June 30, 1987. <br /> <br />-and- <br /> <br /> <br />
