Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #16-11-234 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PARTIAL PAYMENT TO PARK CONSTRUCTION <br /> FOR CITY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #16-54 Mississippi River TRAIL PHASE III <br /> WHEREAS, on October 27, 2015, the City Council authorized the preparations of Plans <br /> and Specifications and the Ads for Bids for the Mississippi River Trail through the City of Ramsey; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS,pursuant to a resolution of the City Council adopted September 13, 2016 the <br /> bid of Park Construction in the amount of$627,986.40 for the total bid is the lowest responsible <br /> bidder; and <br /> WHEREAS, as of November 22, 2016 $0 has been paid to date; and <br /> WHEREAS, Bolton & Menk, Inc. has inspected the completed work and recommends <br /> partial payment to Park Construction Company in the amount of$92,532.50. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> RAMSEY,ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Park Construction Company <br /> for Improvement Project 16-54 Mississippi River Trail Phase III in the amount of <br /> $92,532.50. <br /> 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City <br /> Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. <br /> 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of <br /> bills for the date of November 22, 2016. <br /> 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this <br /> resolution <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof- <br /> and the following voted against the same: <br /> and the following abstained: <br /> and the following were absent: <br /> Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br /> the 22nd day of November 2016. <br />
