Councilmember Williams introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #16-09-154 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR AN <br />OVERSIZED ACCESSORY STRUCTURE. <br />WHEREAS, Jason and Susan Nordquist, hereinafter referred to as the "Permittee" have <br />properly applied for an amended Conditional Use Permit to construct an oversized detached <br />accessory structure at the property located at 8855 176th Avenue NW and legally described as <br />follows: <br />LOT 1, BLOCK 1, COUNTRYSIDE ESTATES, Anoka County, Minnesota. <br />("Subject Property") <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission met on September 1, 2016, conducted the <br />public hearing and recommended City Council approve/deny the request. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1. That based on Findings of Fact #0966, a Conditional Use Permit (the "Permit") for <br />oversizing an accessory structure is hereby granted to the Permittee. <br />2. That this Permit specifically allows the Permittee to exceed the maximum amount of <br />square footage allowed for accessory buildings on the Subject Property by a total of 824 <br />square feet, allowing for construction of a 2,400 square foot detached accessory building <br />(the "Building"). <br />3. That there shall be no additional accessory structures constructed on the Subject Property, <br />unless in accordance with City Code. <br />4. That the Permittee shall construct the Building in accordance with all other provisions of <br />City Code Section 117-349 (Accessory Uses and Buildings). <br />5. That the Permittee shall extend the existing second driveway to provide access to the <br />Building from Vicuna Street and that the driveway shall comply with the standards in City <br />Code Section 117-111. <br />6. That the Permittee agrees that there will not be any commercial activities within the <br />detached accessory building unless in full compliance with City Code Section 117-351 <br />(Home Occupations). <br />7. That this Permit shall be perpetual in duration as long as the terms are herein complied <br />with. <br />
