13. <br /> <br />That CITY/TOWN shall pay a boarding fee in the <br />amount of $5.~ per day, or any portion thereof, <br />for all animals quarantined by order of CITY/TOWN. <br /> <br />14. <br /> <br />Owners claiming their animals shall be liable for <br />any costs for emergency veterinary treatment. <br /> <br />15. <br /> <br />The charge for animals picked up at the request <br />of an owner shall be charged to such owner at the <br />rate of $25.00 per animal. <br /> <br />16. <br /> <br />That CITY/TOWN shall make all payments provided <br />for herein promptly upon receipt of monthly <br />statements from LAKE. <br /> <br />17. <br /> <br />That CITY/TOWN shall appoint the Animal Control <br />Officers of LAKE as CITY/TOWN Animal Control <br />Officers with powers to enforce CITY/TOWN <br />ordinances. <br /> <br /> THIS CONTRACT shall be in full force and effect from the 1st day of <br />April, 1986, to the 31st day of December, 1986, unless earlier cancelled by <br />either party upon thirty (30) days written notice to the other party of the <br />cancellation thereof. <br /> <br /> IT IS MUTUALLY AGREED, by and between the parties hereto, that all the <br />covenants and agreements herein contained shall extend to and be obligatory <br />upon the successors and assigns of the respective parties. <br /> <br /> IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, the parties have caused this contract to be <br />signed in their behalf by the proper officers thereunto duly authorized and <br />their corporate seals to be hereto affixed, the day and year first above <br />written. <br /> <br />LAKE ANIMAL CARE, INC., <br />a Minnesota corporation <br /> <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> <br />By By <br /> Its President <br /> <br />Its Mayor <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />It's City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />
