RESOLUTION NO. 2028 <br />PAGE TWO <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council <br />of Mounds View requests that the United States Department of <br />Transportation, Office of Pipeline Safety require that, as a <br />minimum, the following be done to the pipeline located in <br />the City of Mounds View prior to hydrostatically testing the <br />pipeline: <br /> <br />Visually inspect the pipeline for sagging or <br />other defects. <br /> <br />Examine the pipeline trench for organic or other <br />matter that may cause damage to said pipeline. <br /> <br />3. X-ray all welds of said pipeline. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, if any defects are found as <br />a result of the testing procedures, the City will request <br />that the pipeline be replaced. <br /> <br />Adopted this 14th day of July, 1986. <br /> <br />AT.
