Bruce Bacon is requesting a metes and bounds subdivision of approximately <br />ten acres from s 22 acre parcel in the R-1 Residential District adjacent to his <br />property. Hr. Bacon is requesting a subdivision in order to split off the ten <br />acres, purchase that property, and combine it vith bis lot to use for <br />agricultural purposes. In addition, Hr. Bacon's neighbor is interested in <br />purchasing the remaining 12 acres from the 22 acre parcel and combine that vith <br />her property. <br /> <br />Enclosed are the folloving items for your information: <br /> <br />a) Site location map <br />b) Hap of existing parcel <br />c) Hap of proposed subdivision <br />d) June 11, 1985 City Council meeting minutes regarding Hr. Brolsma*s <br /> property <br />e) Survey of Hr. Brolsma's metes and bounds subdivision <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />The Planning and ionia/ Commission revieved Hr. Bacon% request on July 8, 1986 <br />and recommended approval of the metes and bounds subdivision since Hr. Bacon's <br />request vould be combining three lots to create tvo lots. <br /> <br />The City Council revieved Hr. Bacon% request on July 22, 1986 and requested <br />additional information on a metes and bounds subdivision of the adjacent <br />property. The adjacent property belonging to Hr. and Hrs. John Brolsma vas <br />subdivided by metes and bounds in 1985 vith the provision that the City <br />Ordinances in effect at that time did not alloy for a building permit to be <br />issued on that property. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Council lotion: <br /> <br />Notion to: <br />Approve Hr.
