ANOKA COUNTY MEDIATION PROJECT <br /> <br />Resolution of Support <br /> <br />WHEREAS the concept of volunteer mediation is meeting an increasing number <br />of conflict resolution needs among neighbors, landlords and tenants, <br />businesses and consumers, plus citizens and agencies, <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS the Anoka County Mediation Project proposes to offer mediation <br />servies at no cost to those involved in conflict <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS a recent survey indicated a desire among Anoka County <br />municipalities to use the services of a county mediation project for some <br />conflicts now being handled by police departments, city attorneys, public <br />works and planning departments, <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the city of Ramsey supports the <br />concept of an Anoka County Mediation Project and wovld support its staff's <br />use of these services when appropriate. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />Date <br /> <br /> <br />
