Counc ilmember <br />~oved for itm adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and <br /> <br />· ESOLUTION ~86- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR MUNICIPAL <br />WELL NUMBER 2, WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENT (Project ~86-1 6) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the <br />improvement of Municipal Well No. 2, bids were received, opened <br />and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were <br />received complying with the advertisement: <br /> <br />Bidder <br /> <br />Amount of Bid <br /> <br />of <br />bidder. <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, it appears that <br /> is the lowest responsible <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TIlE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby <br />authorized and directed to enter into a contract with <br /> in the name of the City of Ramsey for the <br />improvement of Municipal Well No. 2 according to the plans and <br />specifications therefor approved by the Ramsey City Council and <br />on file in the office of the City Administrator. <br /> <br /> 2) That the City Administrator is hereby authorized <br />and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made <br />with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful <br />bidder and next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract <br />has been signed. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by <br />the Ramsey City Council this the 23rd day of September, 1986. <br /> <br /> Mayor <br />Resolution ~86- <br /> <br /> <br />
