PROCEEDINGS OF CITY COUNCIL <br /> PUBLIC REARING <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> AROKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted s public hearing on Tuesday, August 26, 1986 <br />at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota <br />regarding improvements to 153rd Lane N.W. between Ramsey Blvd. N.W. and <br />Rhinestone Street N.W. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />A~ting Mayor Reimann <br />Councnilmember A1 $orteberg <br />Councilmember Gary Cox <br />Councilmember Jean Schlueter <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator David Bartley <br />City Engineer Peter Raatikka <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />Reporter Kathy Cassidy <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Acting Mayor Reimann called the public heariug to order at 7:42 p.m. <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka gave a presentation of proposed improvements to 153rd <br />Lane N.W. between Ramsey Blvd. N.W. and Rhinestone Street N.W. at an estimated <br />cost of $12,000. It is proposed that the cost be assessed to 7-1/2 units at an <br />estimated $16OO/unit amortized over a 10 year period at 91 for an annual cost <br />of $249.28. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Willard Breu - 7213 153rd Lane - Inquired as to the length of the area to be <br />improved and the proposed mat thickness. <br /> <br />Mr. Raatikka replied that the area length is about 800' and the mat thickness, <br />after compaction, will be 1-1/2" to 1-3/4". <br /> <br />Jerry Tubbs - 7239 153rd Lane - Stated that street water run-off collects at <br />his driveway. <br /> <br />Mr. Raatikka stated that no drainage improvements are being proposed and noted <br />that property owners are responsible for culverts. <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox stated that there must be a low spot at the Tubbs driveway <br />and directed the City Engineer to review the area for ways to shift that low <br />spot. <br /> <br /> August 26, 1986 <br /> <br />Page I of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
