Council <br />approved a similar request this year; Planning and Zoning conducted a public <br />hearing at which there was no public input; P&Z recommends approval. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to adopt <br />Findings of Fact 0145 relating to a request by Mr. Scott Blowers for a <br />conditional use permit to operate a manufacturing business in the B-1 Business <br />District. (Please refer to findings of fact file for Findings of Fact 0145). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Re imann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox and <br />Schlueter. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Request For Conditional Use Permit To Operate Ann ~arly Childhood <br /> ~ducation Center In The R-IR Residential District; Ca~e Of <br /> ~hildren Of Hope Early ~ducation Center: <br /> <br />Mr. Bruce Sheppard was present. <br /> <br />Ms. Norris stated that Children of Hope Early Education Center is requesting to <br />utilize part of Cross of Mope Church for an early education day care center for <br />approximately 20 children; they are in the process of getting their State <br />license and that is contingent upon city licensing. P&Z conducted a public <br />hearing and recommended approval. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Counc ilmember Cox to adopt <br />Findings of Fact 0146 relating to a request by Children of Mope Early Education <br />Center for a conditional use permit to operate an early education center in the <br />R-IR ~esidential District. (Please refer to findings of fact file for Findings <br />of Fact 0146). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox and <br />Schlueter.
