REQUEST FOR HETES AND BOUNDS SUBDIVISION; <br /> CASE OF HR. JOEL THORSEN <br />By: Community Development Director Anne Norris <br /> <br />CASE ~1: <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Hr. Joel Thomsen is requesting a metes and bounds subdivision of his 16 acre <br />parcel located on the east side of Cry. Rd. ~5, north of 167th Avenue l~.W. Hr. <br />Thomsen is proposing to split the parcel into two parcels. The parcel has 550 <br />feet of frontage along Cry. Rd. #5. Hr, Thomsen will have a sketch plan of his <br />proposed subdivision available at the meeting. <br /> <br />For your information, enclosed is a map showing Mr. Thomsen's property. <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />In the past, the Commission has directed requests for metes and bounds <br />subdivisions to go through the minor platting process. In addition, the City's <br />policy has been to limit driveway access on to County roads. The Commission <br />may wish to recommend only one access be allowed to Hr.
