3) Approve license applications, <br /> <br />4) Adopt Resolution ~86-89 approving payment of monthly bills for June, <br /> 1986. <br /> <br />5) Approve appointment of Mr. David Chapman to the Airport Commission to <br /> term expiring December 31, 1986. <br /> <br />6) Approve request by Mrs. Patricia Smuder for a set up license for the <br /> Party House. <br /> <br />7) Approve request for a gambling license for Anoka Fire Department. <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox noted that his vote to approve items contained in the Consent <br />Agenda will include an abstention to the approval of the June 9, 1986 Council <br />minutes as he was not present at that meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Reimann and Schlueter. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS <br /> <br />Request For Conditional Use Permit To Operate A Cement <br /> Contracting Business From Home At 15401ArmstronE Blvd, N,W,; <br /> Case Of Mr. Wayne Knudson: <br /> <br />Although the request for this conditional use permit was withdrawn, <br />Councilmember Cox asked that the case be retained on the agenda for discussion. <br />Councilmember Cox stated that the Planning and Zoning Commission should be <br />advised that businesses of this nature will not be allowed in an R-1 District. <br />Councilmember Reimann concurred that this type of action is costing people time <br />and effort. <br /> <br />Case ~2: Request For Conditional Use Permit To Operate A Lawn Maintenance <br /> Business From Home At 7721 171st Avenue N.W.~ Case Of Mr. Jurgen <br /> <br />Mr. Zurnieden stated that he has reviewed the conditional use permit agreement <br />and agrees with the terms and conditions therein. Mr. Zurnieden stated that he <br />has a 28 ft. garage to store lawn maintenance equipment and that he would not <br />be dealing with any landscaping-type materials. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Cox to adopt <br />Findings of Fact 0140 relating to a request by Mr. Jurgen Zurnieden for a <br />conditional use permit to operate a lawn maintenance and landscaping business <br />from his home. (Please refer to findings of fact file for Findings of Fact <br />0140). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, Councilm~mbers $orteberg, Cox, <br />Reimann and Schlueter. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Cox, for <br />discussion, to deny the request by Mr. Jurgen Zurnieden for a conditional use <br />permit to operate a lawn maintenance and landscaping business from his home at <br /> <br />Page 5 of 14 <br /> <br /> <br />
