Attorney Goodrich stated that the law would allow <br />such a procedure; however, he does not recommend it as the best policy for the <br />city. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Reimann that this <br />Case #6 to introduce ordinances establishing the Mississippi River Drainage <br />District and the Rum River Drainage District be placed on the agenda for the <br />regular Council meeting in 0uly in the same order as it was presented this <br />evening. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Meitman, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Reimann and Schlueter, Voting No: Done. <br /> <br />~ ~raina~e Problem In Hall-Anderson A~res: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Schlueter to <br />adopt Resolution #86-90 authorizing the City Engineer to prepare a feasibility <br />study for correcting the drainage problem in Hall-Anderson Acres. (Please <br />refer to resolution file for Resolution #86-90). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Reimann and Schlueter. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox indicated that Mrs. Ose was experiencing some high water <br />problems which might be corrected by fill material supplied by the City from <br />excess soils from construction. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Reimann directing <br />City Staff to check out the situation on the Ose property located at 7750 <br />152nd Lane N.W. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Reimann and Schlueter. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Pat Bock - 5940 159th Lane N.W. - Stated that the Building Inspector was at her <br />home inspecting water damage and she would like to know his decision. <br /> <br />Councilmember Reimann requested that the Building Inspector view the Bock <br />property again and report back to Mrs. Bock right away. <br /> <br />Request For Final Plat Approval Of Flintwood Hills Third <br /> Addition; Case Of Mr. Art Raudio: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Mayor Heitman to adopt <br />Resolution ~86-91 approving the final plat of Flintwood Hills Third Addition <br />contingent upon the developer entering into a development agreement with the <br />City. (Please refer to resolution file for Resolution ~86-91). <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Council questioned buffering on the highway side of the <br />property. Mr. Raudio stated that other than berming, that area will be <br />basically open.
