I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I BEANNING AND ZONING O0~ISSION PUBLIC HEARING CITY OF BAFGEY ANC~A O~3NTY S~%TE OF MINNESO~% ~he Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission oonducted a public hearing on Wednesday, February 19, 1986 at the Ramsey Muntci[~ Canter, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Bamsey, Minnesota regarding Mr. ~harles Pearson's request for a conditional use permit to operate automobile body shop and repair business Industrial district. Members Present: Mr. Kenneth Peterson, ~airman Mr. NOy Sh~ay Mr. Jim ]~owell Mr. Ben De~mer Mr. Gerald Zi~merman Mr. Terry Bendriksen Also Present: Ms. Anne Norris Members Absent: Mr. ~arles LaDue ~hairman Peterson called the public hearing to order at 7:34 p.m. ~he applicant, Mr. ~harles Pearson, and no c~tizens were present for the public hearing. Ms. Norris stated that there is a good possibility that Mr. Pearson is withdrawing his request for a conditional use permit to operate an automobile body shop and repair bus~ness in the Industrial district. Motion by O0~issioner Deemer and seconded by Cx~missioner Bendriksen, for further discussion, to ~ahle the public hearing and Case ~1 of the regular Planning C~ssion meeting agenda regarding Mr. (~arles Pearson's request for a conditional use permit until further action is requested by Mr. Pearson. Further Discussion: Cc~issioner Bendriksen inquired if the G0~mission is required to conduct the public hearing because it was advertised. Cxm~issioner Shmway inquired if Mr. Pearson reopens his request for a conditional use permit, will the City be required to another public hearing and publication of sa~e. C(m~issioner Deemer a~nded the motion and Go~issioner He~driksen seconded the mendment to state that the public hearing regarding Mr. (~arles Pearson's request for a conditional use permit will proceed at this meeting as planned and to table any further action with respect to Case %1 of the agenda until a February 19, 1986 Page 1 of 2
